Drilling Manager 

This position will manage both the planning and execution of all aspects of the drilling operations for the asset area in addition to working closely with the completion team to ensure fit for purpose well design.  Ensure departmental standards for capital budget planning, well design, drilling programs, cost estimates, AFE's, final well reports and operational practices.  Track metrics to demonstrate progress towards achieving EHS and departmental goals Responsible for administering employee training with focus on mentoring new engineers.  Oversight responsibility for a large group of vendors including tracking performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ensuring accurate estimates for capital budget estimates, scoping cost and AFE's.
• Ensuring consistent fit for purpose well design and detailed drilling programs.
• Ensure consistency in implementation of field operations with focus on EHS goals and meeting all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure retention of lessons learned to be shared across the department for improved performance.
• Instrumental in employment development and retention.
• Develop trust in relationships with other disciplines within the division to be recognized as a team player.
• Interaction necessary with Service Companies/Contractors to ensure best product best value for client. Keep abreast of new technologies and implement where applicable.

Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer

The primary role is to transform all items conceived by the Technology Group members into detailed designs suitable for use in the Oil and Gas Industry. To do so the EMDE must have or acquire (e.g. through training or by engaging third parties) the skills necessary to perform his/her function in fields including mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, electro-magnetic, thermo-electric and opto-electronic, possibly among others. The other role is "informal liaison" between technology and the Base Organization.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSME, BSEE, BSME-EE or equivalent is required and a Master’s Degree in one or more of the aforementioned fields may be an advantage. Related work experience should include 8+ years designing, testing, and building equipment in at least one of the areas described previously. Oil and Gas Industry experience an advantage.
• Solid understanding of materials such as metals, elastomers, thermoplastics and coatings. Experience with shape-memory alloys, ceramics, glasses and composites an advantage.
• Rotor-dynamic analysis experiences an advantage.
• Fluid dynamics design/ analysis experience an advantage; ANSYS-Fluent CFD experience "better still".
• Strong mechanical design capability and experience including pressure vessels, vibrations, fatigue, flow, thermo dynamics, etc. Rotating equipment experience is not essential but highly desired, as is knowledge in the application of design codes relevant to the Oil and Gas Industry (e.g. API, ASME, ISO).
• Basic understanding of electrical, optical and mechanical (e.g. process) circuits and systems. Completely familiar and conversant with symbols used to diagrammatically represent such systems.
• Basic understanding of electric components design, including three-phase switch-gear, transformers (inverters, converters), variable frequency drives, long-offset power transmission systems, energy storage devices (batteries, capacitors), heat management.
• Experience in the above noted areas associated with multi-megawatt power applications would be advantageous, especially applications with rotating equipment e.g. induction and permanent magnet motors and/or generators.
• Basic understanding of thermo-electric and opto-electronic technologies and systems design.
• Basic understanding of electric and optical control systems (power, communications, networks, protocols, etc.).
• Basic understanding of electric, magnetic, optical and other types of sensors, and their applicability to equipment Condition and Performance Monitoring (CPM), control systems and Integrated Operations (IO).
• Basic understanding of fundamental physics underpinning all of the noted fields/ applications and other, more esoteric effects/ opportunities, e.g. nano-scale, piezo-electric, peltier-thermo.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and test methods used to measure physical properties of materials, systems and environments, etc. e.g. strain, deformation, strength, temperature, pressure, flow, viscosity, voltage, current, resistance, magnetic field strength.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook) is important.

Designer Drafter

Creates complete product design layouts, working detail drawings, sub-assemblies and final assemblies including various views, sections & details. Drawings show complete dimensional data for engineering and manufacturing purposes.

Experience and Training:
• One year minimum CAD drafting training in a technical trade institution or equivalent experience required.
• Four plus years of experience in a CAD mechanical drafting environment required.
• Three to five years of experience with a 3D mechanical CAD solid modeling software package or NX software required.
• Knowledge of standard drafting techniques per ASME Y 14.
• Ability to produce and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics required
• Three to five experience with subsea completions systems preferred.
• Skills required include mechanical design and drafting skills; visualization skills.
• Communication and collaboration skills; proficient use of enabling technology; computer and time management skills.

Customer Support Engineering Manager

The Customer Support Engineering Department consists of degreed engineers, mechanical, electrical, industrial, petroleum engineers, etc., that are hands-on, product-application oriented engineers that function in an onshore and/or offshore work environment. Customer Support Engineers provide detailed engineering planning and execution services for installation, intervention, refurbishment and maintenance of subsea and topsides equipment.
 
Major responsibilities include:
Field installation support, technical documentation, product design review and validation, technical planning, customer interfaces, project execution, product and system troubleshooting, performance testing, product maintenance, repair and refurbishment. Our goal is to provide technical support and services for products in safe and timely manner that adhere to quality and reliability requirements that enable customer success.

Specific responsibilities:
Direct a team of 30 plus personnel to include manufacturing and maintenance engineers, technical publications specialists, drafting and designing specialists, and technical support engineers that support 200+ employees supplying subsea solutions to Shell, BP, Anadarko Petroleum, Exxon, etc. within the Customer Support facility. Support areas include design, modification, refurbishment of subsea equipment and tools. Also support all technical instructions and documentation, non-conformance and reliability engineering, budget and metrics, and manufacturing engineering support for the aftermarket division of the company. Manage manufacturing engineering team in the standardization of preservation, storage and maintenance procedures into SAP operational task lists.
• Assist in cross functional quality initiative teams utilizing Quality tools in implementing continuous improvement processes within the Customer Support Department.
• Develop strategies to address Key Business Objectives; Provided action plans and metrics.
• Participate in Global Engineering Process development and establish maintenance management philosophy & strategy.
• Manage non-conformance notification reporting process and provide reporting to customers.
• Provide direction and leadership to the Maintenance Engineering team, setting priorities, insure project completion and follow through.
• Train and mentor engineers in investigation techniques and root cause analysis.
• Prioritize work and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead, support, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day operational issues.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in engineering with 7-10 years of engineering and management experience or MS degree and 7 yrs of experience.
• Capable of managing and working in a diverse (multi-cultural, multi-disciplined) team environment.
• Embodies a customer-oriented attitude and the ability to lead and manage others without close supervision.
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining document control/management systems.
• Have technical knowledge of Document Management Systems. Have an understanding of Project Management process as well as a thorough knowledge of organizational structure and inter-relationships between functions.
• Must be organized and flexible in order to handle changing priorities and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a changing environment.
• PC skills with proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, relational database, project management software, SAP and electronic document control software.

Candidate will perform business analysis, SAP solution configuration / implementation and SAP solution support activities in the QM, MM space.

Business Analysis tasks include
• Participate in and, when appropriate lead, meetings with business functions including but not limited to key users, super users
• Participate in solution analysis and development meetings with global process and global SAP teams
• Assist with coordinating and solving complex process and transformation issues.
• SAP solution configuration / implementation tasks include
• Analyze, configure, implement QM and MM functionality
• Will perform QM Configuration, macros, monitor batch processes, establish BPM processes.
• Work closely with other project teams and support team members to understand integration between QM and other R/3 modules as well as portals.
• Advise, assist and perform master data and transaction data set-up, maintenance and optimization
• Assist in data cleansing and migration.
• Assist in conversion and implementation task at client’s sites.
• SAP support/implementation tasks include
• Support user community in implementation of the new systems and processes.
• Maintain ticketing system queue for this area, including triage, root cause analysis activities.
• Develop, maintain and deliver instructor led end user training and documentation. Full life cycle implementation of SAP QM/MM
• At least 5 years of functional QM, MM experience with a minimum of 3 years configuration experience and 4 years of end user support experience
• At least 2 years of workflow experience including ABAP programming skills; knowledge of report painter, SAP Smart Forms required.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Ongoing training in the functional/technical areas will be necessary to maintain and develop required skill set, latest techniques and capabilities available within the standard SAP solution set. It is expected, though, that this individual already has detailed knowledge in this functional / technical space.

Lead Process Engineer

• Ability to lead project teams to perform subsea separation, boosting and gas compression projects
• Coordinate activities within all department disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls) to ensure successful completion of projects
• Good understanding of the application of different types of separation technologies, pumps, compressors and process control systems
• Have some understanding of subsea systems or demonstrate the aptitude to quickly gain an understanding of subsea engineering and subsea systems.
• Ensure proper interface of all mating systems to separation, boosting and gas compression stations.
• Interfaces with global philosophy and technical standards related to subsea separation technologies and process systems.
• Promotes approved process system solutions within sales presentations, FEEDs and projects.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience of subsea or topside process engineering.
• BS in Chemical Engineering are preferred. However, candidates with BS in Mechanical Engineering with extensive (10+ years) experience of topside processing facilities can also be considered for this position.
• Track record of directing project teams to perform sales order projects, product development projects and FEED studies.
• Microsoft office (powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook Access is plus)
• Experience in using process simulators such as PVTSim, HYSYS or Unisim are required. Familiarity with PIPESIM, OLGA or equivalent are a plus.

Structural Engineer

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a PE or an EIT with a minimum of three years of experience working on a wide variety of building types, such as commercial, light industrial, institutional, laboratories and government facilities. BS in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures. Structural Analysis and Design through a wide variety of commercial programs either in 2D or in 3D. People skills with a desire to contribute to the success of the project assignments.

Degreed Civil Engineer with EIT or PE 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
With a minimum 2 years experience inTraffic studies and roadway design, Sewer system evaluation Infiltration/ Inflow Smoke testing, solve puzzles, Water and Wastewater systems modeling and designDrainage studies and design.
 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Professional Civil Engineer with 10 plus years of experience in Municipal Engineering. Experienced in the design of municipal projects including water, wastewater, roadways and drainage. Project management with client contact skills will be a plus.

RELIABILITY ENGINEER

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing plant involved with plant maintenance and/or engineering. Understand static and dynamic stresses and calculations. Knowledge in using and implementing FMA's to develop and implement preventive and predictable maintenance programs. Understand sensors, switches and PLC's, preferably Allen Bradley. Able to read ladder diagrams. Strong organizational skills. Strong skills in fluid flow for pipes, pumps and other related equipment. Knowledge of conveyance equipment (mechanical conveyors, pneumatic transporters, and screw conveyors). Knowledge in using root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 why's, etc. B.S. electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent Computer skills:  MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS Project.

SAFETY MANAGER/SAFETY ENGINEER

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
CPR Certification. Minimum of 2 years Occupational Health experience. OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer, U.S. Department of Labor. Certificate of Technology in Occupational Health and Safety.

FUNCTION: 
Manage and/or coordinate the safety and environmental activities at a Houston Plant.

PRIMARY DUTIES: 
Manage and/or coordinate the activities needed to maintain the facilities compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Ensure the facility has all of the required permits and inspections required by the city, county, state and federal government. Prepare all required safety and environmental reports for the city, county, state and federal governments. Maintain knowledge of current and proposed safety and environmental regulations. Provide leadership and technical guidance in emergency situations, accident investigations and corrective actions. Represent the company as the technical contact with the outside regulatory and emergency response organizations. Conduct safety and environmental inspections and audits to determine possible safety and environmental issues. Develop, implement and manage programs, policies, procedures and rules to deal with safety and environmental issues. Work with the property and workers compensation insurance carriers to evaluate and coordinate loss prevention activities. Provide management reports on safety information and activities as needed to meet the expectations of the company. Prepare annual department budgets and assure compliance. Provides follow-up of all occupational injuries and illnesses. Monitors employees on restricted duty. Maintains employee files for accidents and medical records. Establish and conducts wellness programs. Maintains OSHA log.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Working with commercial building projects. Depending on specialization,  will design electrical components or systems; design heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; or design structures such as roads and bridges.
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5-10 years of experience with commercial building design. BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering-Electrical. Professional Engineer (PE certification or Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred. Advanced AutoCAD skills.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited university required. 2+ years consulting engineer with private sector, commercial and institutional. Experience in consulting engineering designing power & lighting systems for small, medium and large commercial and institutional buildings. Excellent communication skills (oral/written) required. LEED certification a plus. AutoCAD proficiency for drawing production is a plus. EIT or P.E. registration a plus.

Typical day to day duties: 
1. Provide the limited scope of design services for electrical engineering discipline for projects including lighting and power systems.
2. Production engineering, design calcs, ACAD drawing prep, plan reviews, and inter-discipline coordination.
3. Responses to client needs in a fast-company, dynamic working environment.
4. Assist with project management of MEP projects with limited responsible charge for project delivery, quality, and performance.

Job Description:

Senior Engineers and Project Managers must be accountable for the technical and financial performance of projects.

Other Responsibilities:
Perform other tasks as assigned. Ability to supervise drafters, technicians, project secretaries and other engineers with assigned tasks. Ability to instruct personnel at all levels concerning assigned engineering activities.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER-COMMERCIAL

Working with commercial building projects. Depending on specialization,  will design electrical components or systems; design heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; or design structures such as roads and bridges.

Engineering Technician - Plumbing

Job Description:
Developing or modify plumbing and fire protection plans, riser diagrams and systems components according to established standards. Developing plumbing and fire protection systems designs based on input from the project engineer and/or the project designer. Picking up red marks from plans provided by the project engineer and/or the project designer.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of four years of experience working on a wide variety of building types, such as commercial, light industrial, institutional, laboratories and government facilities. High school diploma or equivalent required. College or Technical degree preferred. Advanced AutoCAD skills in version 2005. Ability to perform standard CAD functions using ADT or like system and be able to reason through design conflicts in the following categories: storm and sanitary, water distribution, fire protection and compressed gases.

Ability to create riser diagrams form plan views, size piping systems, select equipment and minor calculations.

LAND & SITE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - CIVIL

Job Description:

Engineering tasks include research and conceptual studies, facilities layout, conceptual and detailed design, engineering calculations, selection and specification of materials and equipment, cost estimating, specifications writing, plan preparation including supervision and plan checking and construction observations and field engineering. Must be able and willing to work in AutoCAD for drawing preparation and checking. Oral and written communications with those being supervised and with peers, supervisors, clients, outside agencies, vendors, suppliers and consultants is a critical part of the job. An Engineer may supervise drafters, technicians, project coordinators or other engineers. Engineering tasks may include project-level activities such as the scoping and scheduling of projects and tasks, contract administration, coordination of tasks, work planning and management, and contacts with outside agencies, sub-consultants and clients. Engineers are expected to take major responsibilities for projects, for the promulgation of company values and for the image and perception of the company in the community at large.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required. EIT registration required. Experience with site developments required. AutoCAD proficiency for drawing production required. Excellent communication skills (oral/written) required. Land Desktop proficiency is a plus.
